Shirley Cormier, 91, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, ON, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Evelyne (Jones) Gaudet.

Prior to her retirement, Shirley worked at Dominion and she was a lifetime member of the Moncton Air Force Veterans Club. She loved cats and always had a furry friend throughout her life.

She is survived by three sons: Ronnie, Michael (Denise), and Danny (Janice); three grandchildren: Rebecca, Nathalie, and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren: Cameron and Avery; two brothers: Paul (Missy) and Ronny (Caroline); three sisters: Jeannette Léger (René), June Gallant (late Bill), and Carole McCray (Merle); a special friend, Raymond Boudreau; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Normand (2003); and one sister, Eileen Cormier.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday November 7 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Shirley, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society or the PAW (People for Animal Wellbeing) would be appreciated.
