Rodanna Oakes, 65, of Shediac, passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2022, at the North Bay Regional Hospital, in Ontario. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Roderick an Arvella (Purdy) Moir.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Oakes; two children: Nicole Hache (André) and Dean Boutilier; two sisters: Pamela Hatten and Bethy Moir; one brother, Ricky; three grandchildren: Alixandre, Mathieu, and Josh, as well as many nieces, and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Margery Skerry and one brother, Bruce.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) where a celebration of life will take place on Saturday October 22 at 4 p.m. Visiting hours are Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Interment will be at Greenwood cemetery in Shediac.

In memory of Rodanna, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
