Sister Phyllis Landry (Olivier-Marie), ndsc, passed away
following a lengthy illness on Thursday September 22, 2022 at the
Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur
in Moncton. She was 100 years old and in the
77th year of her religious life. Born in
Saint-André, she was the daughter of the late Olivier and
Marie (Léger) Landry.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by one sister,
Rose-Marie Goguen of Fitchburg, Mass., as well as her nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters:
Corinne, Bella and Hilda; and four brothers: Lionel and three infant
brothers.
Sister Phyllis will be resting in the chapel of the
Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur
in Moncton where the funeral mass by invitation only will be
celebrated on Tuesday September 27 at 10 am. Visiting hours by
invitation are Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of funeral.
Face covering and proof of vaccination are
mandatory for the private funeral. The funeral mass
will be streamed live and may be viewed on her obituary at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
where condolences may also be sent. Interment will be in Memramcook.
