Normand Bourque, 79, of Haute-Aboujagane, passed away on Monday September 19, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Trois-Ruisseaux, he was the son of the late Adrice and Rita (Cormier) Bourque.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for Dover Insulation and was a fisherman. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, darts and visiting with friends and family.
He is survived by his
three children: Jeanette Bourque, Gérard (France) and
André all of Haute-Aboujagane; four siblings:
Rose-Aimé Nima (Lloyd) of St-André, Rosalita
Melanson (Maurice) of Shediac, Majella Landry and Janita Doiron both
of Cap-Pelé; four grandchildren: Jessica, Andy, Conrad and
Sophie; one great-granddaughter, Millie, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his wife, Huberte Bourque (2016) and an infant
sister.
By request, there will be no
visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette
Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, Monday September 26, 2022,
at 11:30 am. Interment will be
in the Frenette Funeral Columbarium, Shediac. In memory of Normand, a
contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be
appreciated.
