Florence Saulnier, 67, of Cap-Pelé passed away at the Maison Albert, Moncton on Sunday September 4, 2022. Born in Port-Elgin, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Emerise (Donelle) Cullen.

Florence worked for the federal government for 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, taking long walks, reading, gardening, and waiting for the spring to go clam digging in Cape Spear. She was a very quiet and private person.

She is survived by her husband, Jean; two children: Ryan (Joëlle Savoie) of Cap-Pelé and Jessica (Russel Boudreau) of Grand-Barachois; one brother, Gary (Charlene) of Port-Elgin; one sister, Marjory of Vancouver, BC; one granddaughter, Riley, as well as many nieces, and nephews.

Special thanks to Charlene, Joëlle and Gisèlle who provided food to Florence and Jean during the last few weeks.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. In memory of Florence, a contribution to the Maison Albert would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
