Bertha Jeannette Babineau, 81, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 22nd, 2022. Born in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Roméo and Mathilde (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Bertha was a full-time mother and a fan of the Montreal Canadian. She loved to play cards and bingo at the Villa Providence.
She is survived by her daughter Mona Frenette (René) of Scoudouc; two sons: Cory (Vicki Carr-Babineau) of Moncton, Mark (Denise) of Dieppe; six siblings: Arsène LeBlanc of Barachois, Marie-Mai Lirette of Shediac, Noëlla LeBlanc of Shediac, and Yolande Bourque of Cormier-Village; six grandchildren: Taylor, Colby, Ashley, Alysha, Joshua, and Jessica also several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald (2005) and two brothers: Gaspard and Léonce.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday, August 25th from 7 pm to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at the St-Henri-de-Barachois R. C. Church, 1356, route 133, Grand-Barachois on Friday, August 26th at 2 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Bertha, a donation to the Greater Moncton Paw, formerly SPCA or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
