Léopold "Paul" Gallant, 92, of Monarch Hall in Riverview, passed away on Monday August 15, 2022 at his residence. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Eleonore (Goguen) Gallant.

He is survived by his daughter, Susanne Gallant (Timothy Manuge) of Toronto, ON; his granddaughter, Laura Manuge of Banff, AB; his siblings: Roger (Rolande) of Dieppe, Lucille Chisolm (late Leonard) of Lunenburg, NS, Raoul (Ghislaine) of Grand-Barachois, Roméo (late Patricia "Pat") of Windsor, ON, and Louis of Shediac; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Blanche (Brine) Gallant who passed away in February of this year; eight siblings: Andréa, Germaine, Maria, Thérèse, Angela, Leonce, as well as infants Laure and Camille.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, 43, Botsford Street, Moncton, Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11 am.  Interment will be at St-Joseph’s cemetery in Shediac. In memory of Paul, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
