With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald "Ron" LeBlanc, 83, on Friday August 5th, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Dieppe, he was the son of the late Arthur and Marie Blanche (Cormier) LeBlanc.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Camilla, married for 63 years; a daughter, Lise Blakeney (Lorne) of Woodpoint, NB; a son, Roland (late Colleen Hollis) of Fredericton; four grandchildren: Ryan (Crystal) of Estavan, SK, Kimberley of Barnaby, BC, Brian (Hannah) and Danielle (Claire) of Fredericton; three great-grandchildren: Parvati, Bentley, and Everleigh; a brother, Léo (late Eveline); his brother and sister in-laws: Lou (Eukie), Lorraine (Vic), Laurie (Francine), and Dorilla (late Merv), also many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by eight sisters: infant Mary, Bella, Evelyn, Mae, Rita, Leona, Anita, and Theresa and by two brothers: infant Rene and Roy.

Ron was a wonderful husband, father, and grand father. He was a great rhythm guitar player. For many years, he played music at the St-Henri de Barachois Church, Grand-Barachois and with the local band "La gang de la HA". Ron was a big fan of bluegrass music. He will be missed.

Due to Covid, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held on Saturday August 27th at 10:30am. The funeral service will be live streamed and may be viewed on his obituary at www.frenettefuneralhome.com.  Interment will be at the parish columbarium in Grand-Barachois.

In memory of Ron, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or to the Vestiaire St-Joseph would be appreciated.
