Bertha Ayles, 84, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Marie (McCaie) Caissie.

She is survived by three daughters: Rose-Marie, Geraldine (Raymond) and Viola (Clinton); two sons: Yvon and Raymond (Claire); one daughter-in-law, Doris; five grandchildren: Tanya, Jason, Brian, Daniel, and Matthew; six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Adelard; eight sisters: Gloria, Jeannette, Rita, Margaret, Della, Noëlla, Viola, and Muriel; two brothers: Billy and Eddy.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Bertha, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
