Gerard Martin, 68, of Grand-Barachois passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont UHC. He was the son of Benoit and Rose (Richard) Martin.

He is survived by his spouse, Dianne Gallant; two children: Kevin (Jessica) and Amanda (René), a brother, Albert (Angela), two nephews: Shawn and Joel, sister-in-law, Jeannette Bourgeois-Chandle.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation. A private funeral will be held at a later date.

The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care given to Gerard by Dr. Lise Richard and the nursing staff in 4C.

In memory of Gerard, a donation to the Fondation CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
