Francis Jacob, 66, of Petit-Cap, passed away on Saturday July 16, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Petit-Cap, he was the son of the late Léo and Enna (Melanson) Jacob.

He is survived by his wife, Kartini Jacob; four children: Kris Jacob, Daena Jacob, Sheena Smith, and Dakota Jacob; seven siblings: Eudore (Nicole), Valois, Mauril, Valérie (Glenda), Marcel, Marcella Jacob (late Garnett) and Rosella Bourque (late Robert); five grandchildren: Sinead Dolan, Dylan Jacob, Ethan Jacob, Keenan Estabrooks and Camila Lopez, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Hilaire and Éric.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Street, Cap-Pelé (506) 577-3297 on Friday July 22 from 12:30 pm until time of departure 2:20 pm. Face mask is recommended. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d'Avila Church, 2648 Acadie Street, Cap-Pelé at 2:30 pm. Interment will be at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila cemetery, Cap-Pelé.
