It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine LeBlanc, 84, of Moncton, on May 30, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Saint-Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Irénée and Régina (Breau) LeBlanc.

Jeannine enjoyed life and loved spending every possible moment with her family, especially her two granddaughters. She began her career at la Société Assomption Vie before leaving to work in the family business, U&A Contractors Ltd. She spent many years volunteering at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital and was a member of Les Dames Chevalières.

Jeannine will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ulysse, two daughters Claire LeBlanc (Bill Mallais) and Isabelle LeBlanc (Eric Landry), two adored granddaughters Madeleine and Adèle Landry, all residing in Moncton, in addition to three step-grandchildren Chantal Mallais-Grant, Scott Mallais and Ryan Mallais. Jeannine is also survived by four sisters Alice Léger (late Vital) of Moncton, Imelda Jean (Jacques) of Boucherville, Qc, Irène Nowlan (Jim) of Moncton and Edmée Arsenault (late Désiré) of Saint-Antoine, one sister-in-law Léona LeBlanc (late Gérard) of Moncton, one brother-in-law, Adelin Paradis (late Florence) of Montréal, Qc, a special niece Carmella Brooks, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Juliette Léger (late Alban), Lina Robichaud (late Ernest), Eric LeBlanc (late Léona), Yvon LeBlanc (late Odila), Florence Paradis (Adelin), Gérard LeBlanc (Léona), Lucie Melanson, and her twin Edith Léger (Léon-Guy).

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only.
