Gabrielle LeBlanc, 75, formerly of Scoudouc, passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Rudolphe and Gladys (Landry) Pitre.

After raising her children, Gabrielle worked at various daycares and as the nanny for the Gautreau family until her retirement. A very good cook, she was known for her desserts, especially her delicious strawberry pies. She loved her family, her friends, Christmas, singing, dancing, playing bingo, reading, shopping, craft projects, sewing, and puzzles.

She is survived by three children: Pierre Philippe LeBlanc, Mireille LeBlanc (Jules Comeau), and Mathieu LeBlanc (Colette); two grandchildren: Alex and Chloé; four sisters: Géraldine, Anita, Yvonne, and Suzanne; one brother, Robert; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Paul (2020); a young daughter, Madeleine; one sister, Rose-Marie; two brothers: Léonard and Jean-Maurice.

The family wants to sincerely thank the dedicated employees of the Villa du Repos for their excellent care and compassion.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday May 13 at 7 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 6 pm until time of funeral. Face covering is recommended. Interment will be in Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur parish cemetery in Scoudouc.
