Laurentine Cormier, 66, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday April 30, 2022, following a courageous battle with cancer after 7 years at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Gérard and Céline (Gallant) Cormier.
She is survived by three children: Lisa Cormier (Russel LeBlanc), Pauley (Sophie) and Rhéal (France); seven brothers: Raymond (late Rachel), Gérard (Linda), Lorenzo, Norbert, Léonce (Paulette), Jean-Charles and Edvin (Yvette); one sister, Angela McPhee; five grandchildren: Jamie (Erika), Nicholas, Maya, Zia and Ben; special niece, Kathy LeBlanc, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Cécile and three brothers: Abraham, Armand and Alphée.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday May 5 from 2 pm until time of departure (3:45 pm). The funeral will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, on Thursday May 5 at 4 pm.
