Gérard Richard, 86, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday April 8, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Saint-Norbert, he was the son of the late Albert and Marie-Rose (Maillet) Richard.

Prior to his retirement, Gérard was a service technician for Pella-Hunt Windows.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannise née LeBlanc with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in August; one brother, Aldéric (Pauline) of Shediac Bridge; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by six sisters: Vienna, Yvonne, Aurelda, Lena, Lucie, and Florine; and five brothers: Willie, Alphée, Paul, Antoine, and Gilbert.

In accordance to his wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Moncton. In memory of Gérard, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
