Jude Poirier, 77, of Moncton, passed away on Monday April 4, 2022 at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edgar and Celeste Zelicca (Richard) Poirier.

Prior to his retirement, Jude worked for Canada Border Services Agency for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Patricia née Lutes; one daughter, Michelle Mallet (Stéphane) of Amqui, QC; one son, Edward "Eddie" Poirier (Ginette Arseneau) of Edmundston; one sister-in-law, Aline Poirier of Moncton; as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Léopold.

A private celebration of life by invitation will take place at a later date. In memory of Jude, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
