Simone Robichaud, 99, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday March 19, 2022, at The Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Mélème and Léonie (Boudreau) Babineau. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by her son, Joseph "Joey" Legere (late Jeanne) of Dieppe; a special nephew, Roy Leger (Suzanne) of Brossard, QC, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph (2002); seven sisters: Yvonne LeBlanc, Doris Léger, Sara McGraw, Élise Gervais, Marguerite Landry, Salome Landry and Jeanne Dupuis; three brothers: Mélème, Edgar and Alfred.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be in St-Henri de Barachois cemetery, Grand-Barachois. In memory of Simone, a contribution to Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
