Norman Jean Robichaud, 85, of Moncton, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Pavillon Landry of the Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in Notre-Dame, he was the son of the late Thomas and Irène (Melanson) Robichaud.

Norman was a heavy equipment engineer. In his younger years, he had worked in Labrador, NL, Toronto, ON and in the state of Massachusetts in the USA.  He was a hard worker and dedicated to his family. He had a passion for the game of golf and enjoyed playing pool.

He will be sadly missed by his three daughters: Sandra LeBlanc of Cocagne, Paulette Robichaud (Donnie Charlong) and Norma Léger (René Légère), both of Moncton; four grandchildren: Troy, Tina, Sophie, and Vanessa; three great-grandchildren: Julien, Maxime and Haley; three sisters: Ida Surette (late Edouard), Jeannine Cormier (Gilbert), and Diane Cormier (Willie), all of Moncton; one brother, Donald (Donna) of Moncton; two sisters-in-law: Diane Robichaud (late Désiré) and Ann Higgins (late Guy) as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Angela née Williams (2018); and three brothers: Léo, Désiré and Guy.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday May 7, 2022 at 11 am.  Visiting hours are Saturday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Face coverings are recommended. Interment will be at Frenette Columbarium in Moncton. In memory of Norman, a contribution to the Arthritis Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
