Martine Paquet, 49, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday March 18, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Carol and Lisette (Rousseau) Paquet of Saint-Quentin.

A passionate woman who loved life, laughing and understanding others.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her partner, Simon Gauvin; two sons: Joël Dubé (Stéphane Babineau) of Moncton and Alexis Dubé (Sara-Maude Boucher) of Dieppe; two sisters: Rachel Paquet (Dino Volpé) and Magalie Paquet (Gaëtan Gibbs), both of Edmundston; her paternal grandfather, Jean-Marie Paquet; eight nephews and one niece: Anthony Cyr, Mikel Cyr, Zack St-Pierre, Noah, Isaac, Malik and Gaël Gibbs, Allison and Matthew Orr; as well as many other members from the Rousseau and the Paquet families.

She is resting with her maternal grandparents, Florence and Jean Rousseau, and her paternal grandmother, Lucia Paquet.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday March 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and at Résidence funéraire Valcourt, 254 Canada Street, Saint-Quentin (235-2140) on Wednesday March 23 from 1 pm until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Très Saint-Sacrement Roman Catholic Church, 188 Canada Street, Saint-Quentin, on Wednesday March 23 at 4 pm. Interment will be in parish cemetery.

In memory of Martine, a contribution to the family or to cancer research would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre of Moncton and the Résidence Valcourt of Saint-Quentin.
