It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Gilbert Noel, on Wednesday March 9, 2022 at The Moncton Hospital at the age of 87 years old. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Arcade and Alice (Thériault) Noel. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his six children: Philip of BC, Lillian of Moncton, Sandra (Howie) of Mission, BC, Dan of Shediac Cape, Gerry (Josée) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Vince of Smiths Falls, ON; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by eight siblings: Alderic, Clarence, Clifford, Peggy, Rose, Eva, Lorraine and Marie; one grandson, Danny Noel.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday March 14, 2022 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Monday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Face covering is recommended to enter the funeral centre. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Gilbert, a contribution to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
