David Douglas Stiles, 60, of Moncton, passed away on Monday
March 7, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital following a courageous battle
with cancer. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Audrey (Fisher) Stiles
of Moncton and the late Douglas A. Stiles.
Besides his mother, he will be lovingly remembered by his
wife, Jeannine Covan; two step-daughters: Charlotte and Rachel;
siblings: Dianne Udby (Charlie) of Truro, NS, Don Stiles (Dianne) of
Moncton, Michael Stiles (Karen) of Moncton, Katherine Stiles (Siamak)
of Toronto, ON, and Christine Stiles (John) of Moncton; his nephews
and extended family members as well as numerous
friends.
David worked in the printing industry, first with A. Stiles
Printing and then moved on to Codiac Printing Inc. where he ran the
Offset Printing Department for over 20 years.
David loved to golf but his passion was stock car (and later,
AOW) racing at Petty Raceway and Riverglade Speedway driving #14 in
stock car and #8 in AOW along with his crew, Richard Wilson, Derek
Carter, Ronnie Johnson and Michael Johnson.
David was a kind, loving soul who offered a helping hand when
needed. He was a friend to all.
At David’s request, there will be no visitation and
no funeral service. In memory of David, a contribution to the Friends
of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (palliative care) would be
appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(858-1900).
