It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my
mother, Gloria Cormier, 85, of Moncton, on Sunday March 6, 2022 at the
Albert House. Born in Cormierville, she was the daughter of the late
Simon and Amanda (Melanson) Mazerolle.
Prior to her retirement, Gloria was employed at Woolworth,
Woolco and Walmart for 39 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Odette Meunier (Floyd) of
Moncton; one grandson, Jason (Marie-Pier Lambert) of Moncton; and her
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Omer Cormier (1981); her
friend, Alban Légère; one sister, Jeannette
Maillet; and one brother, Léonard Mazerolle.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday March 10 at 4 pm.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 1 pm until time of funeral service.
Face covering is mandatory. Interment
will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of
Gloria, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be
appreciated.
