It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn Jean
Boudreau, 87, of Moncton, announce the passing of their dear mother on
Friday March 4, 2022 at the Albert House. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Rae) Twigger.
Marilyn will be forever remembered by her six children:
Liselle Chiasson (Ron), Diane Duggan (Dave), Tom Boudreau (Lorna),
Dave Boudreau (Maureen), Donna Reid (Ray) and Mark Boudreau (Josette);
nine grandchildren: Ryan, Kellie, Nicole, Lucas, Stephen, Gregory,
Brandon, Corey, and Andrew; six great-grandchildren: Eva, Leo, Ellis,
Hudson, Zoë, and Charlie; her best friend since their teenage
years, Jean Williamson; as well as several sisters-in-law, nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Marilyn was predeceased
by her brother, Harry Twigger as well as several sisters and
brothers-in-law and her loving friend of 9 years, Bill
Hughes.
Marilyn was a kind and caring Mom. She was also a loving wife
to Donald who passed away on July 18, 2001. Mom was our rock. She
always kept our family together and our house was always filled with
family and friends on Friday nights for happy hours. Lots of laughs,
good food and drinks. She also loved to celebrate all the special
occasions throughout the year, especially birthdays. Mom was a good
baker and she would make sure we all had our favourite
cake.
We want to thank the incredible staff at the Moncton
Residence for their loving care they gave Mom over the last few years
and the very caring staff at Albert House Hospice for the last two
months.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday March 9 at 2 pm.
Visiting hours are Wednesday from 1 pm until time of funeral service.
Face covering is mandatory. Interment
will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton. In memory of Marilyn, a
contribution to the Alzheimer Society or the Hospice SENB (Albert
House) would be appreciated.
