Lorraine Goguen, 98, wife of the late Léandre Goguen passed away Sunday February 20, 2022, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent after a brief illness. Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Marie (Léger) LeBlanc. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She leaves to mourn her children: Bernette LeBlanc (Yvon) and Léo-Paul both of Cocagne; two granddaughters: Lise and Nicole, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she is predeceased by two sons: Jean-Guy and Marcel; four brothers: Hector, Joe, Désiré and Ovila; four sisters: Régina, Émilia, Jeanne and Élise.

In accordance with her wishes, there was no visitation. The funeral mass was celebrated at Saint-Pierre R.C. Church, Cocagne. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Lorraine, a contribution to the Saint-Pierre R.C. parish church would be appreciated.
