Elvina Goguen, 92, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday February 24, 2022 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Collette, she was the daughter of the late Isidore and Hélène (Pitre) Doucet.

She is survived by seven children: Yvonne LeBlanc (Normand "Norm" Gaudet) of Lakeville, Maurice (Kathy) of Riverview, Armand (Lynn), Richard (Réjeanne Arsenault) and Oscar (Debbie), all of Dieppe, Léo (Carol) of Moncton, and Edouard "Eddy" (Violette) of Irishtown; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; four siblings: Géraldine Arsenault (Patrick), Dorina Cameron (Jim), Adelard, and Derrick; as well as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Martin (1990); one daughter, Annette Rioux; one son, Roger; one great-grandson, Julien; one son-in-law, Normand LeBlanc; five siblings: Florine, Oscar, Guillaume, Edmond and Alexis.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday March 11th at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Elvina, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
