Daniel Caissie, 30, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Friday February 18, 2022 in Notre-Dame. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Gloria (Caissie) Lutes and Danny Cormier.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Steven Caissie and Michael Lutes, both of Sackville; his half-siblings: Mellisa Prosser and Richard Prosser, both of Salisbury; his maternal grandmother, Géraldine Caissie; his godfather and special uncle and aunt, Donald and Lucie Cormier; two special cousins: Kelly-Ann Cormier and Lisa Cormier; his godson, Julien; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Johnny Caissie; and his paternal grandparents: Albénie and Laura Cormier.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday February 24 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 9 am until time of funeral service. Face covering is mandatory, proof of vaccination and government issued identification card are required to enter the funeral centre, and social distancing is in effect. Interment will be at St. Lawrence O’Toole parish cemetery in Irishtown. In memory of Daniel, a contribution to the family would be appreciated.
