Anita LeBlanc, 96, of Moncton, passed away on Friday February
11, 2022 at the Pavillon Landry of the Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in
Saint-Jean-d’Iberville, QC, she was the daughter of the late
Ben Bujold and Geneviève Bujold.
Prior to retirement, Anita worked at Swifts Canada,
Hôtel Beauséjour as a waitress and seamstress for
12 years, and many years self-employed doing housework. She was a
proud Sergeant-at-Arms and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary
Legion Branch #6.
She is survived by her daughter Annette Damiani of Irishtown;
one son, Michel of Notre-Dame; four grandchildren: Janel, Maurise,
Daniel and Michel; three great-granddaughters: Ashley, Jenna, and Mia;
her great-great-granddaughter, Abbigale, being the fifth generation;
one sister, Simonne Godin of Dieppe; one brother, Roger Bujold of
Sudbury, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aurèle (2017);
one daughter, Rachel (2019); two sisters: Marie-Blanche and
Bernadette; 10 brothers: Henri, Maurice, Yvon, Roméo,
René, and five infant brothers.
This lady touched many lives and will be dearly
missed!
Due to the pandemic, the funeral mass will be celebrated at a
later date. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
In memory of Anita, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society would be
appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(858-1900).
