Eric Vautour, 65, of Edmonton, AB, and formerly of Bas-Cap-Pelé, passed away at his residence, on Wednesday February 2, 2022. Born in Bas-Cap-Pelé, he was the son of Claudette (LeBlanc) Vautour of Bas-Cap-Pelé and the late Azor Vautour.

He is survived by his significant other, Randy of Edmonton, AB; two children: Marise Vautour Stright (Jamie) of Shemogue and Mario of Ontario; five brothers and sisters: Régis (Thérèse) of Bas-Cap-Pelé, Ginette Lirette (Richard) of Dupuis Corner, Denise Vautour (late Dean), Hélène Vautour (Raymond) of Bas-Cap-Pelé and Guy (Noëlla) of Cap-Pelé; former wife, Ginette LeBlanc of Cap-Pelé; two grandchildren: Allyson and Kaitlyn; one great-granddaughter, Rylyn, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private visitation will be held by invitation only. In memory of Eric, a contribution to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (577-3297).
