Bernise Hachey, 90, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at Moncton Residence. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Aimé and Dométhilde (LeBlanc) Gaudet.

Prior to her retirement, Bernise worked at the DSS in Shediac. She loved to playing cards, cooking pastries, and reading.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise Bourque (Victor) of Moncton; one son, Don (Lyne) of Montréal, QC; nine grandchildren: Chantal, Sophie, Justin, Natalie (Adam), Stéphane (Jewel), Véronique (Robert), Marissa (Julien), Mélanie, and Andrew; four great-grandchildren: Alex, Isaac, Luc, and Isaiah; one brother, Oscar Gaudet (Peggy) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lorenzo "Larry" (2017); two sisters: Donalda and Claudette; and one brother, Ronald.

A private funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church in Moncton by invitation only. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Bernise, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
