Leo Paul LeBlanc, 84, of Moncton, has peacefully passed away,
after a long and courageous battle with cancer, with his family by his
side, on Monday January 24, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
Born in Memramcook, he was the adopted son of Lucien and Marie
(Arseneau) LeBlanc.
He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He will
be dearly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Mae (Thibodeau),
devoted son Paul, and cherished grandson Daniel, as well as many
friends and relatives.
Besides his adoptive parents, he was predeceased by his son,
Bernie LeBlanc.
He spent most of his life doing auto body repair and was a
Jack-of-all-trades handyman. He spent his career working at
Westinghouse, Macpherson Builders, and in the U.S. In retirement, he
was a handyman for various condo associations around
Moncton.
We would also like to thank Dr. Linda LeBlanc, Dr. Cedric
Wybouw, Dr. Ali Benjelloun, Dr. Anik Savoie and the N.B. Extra-Mural
team who took such great care of him.
Cremation will take place at Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre, Moncton (858-1900) and burial will be in the spring. Honouring
his wishes, no visitation or services will be held. In memory of Leo,
donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
