It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Thérèse Marie LeBlanc, 88, wife of the late
Gérard LeBlanc (2006), of Moncton, on Friday January 21,
2022 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Anibert and Exelda (Caissie)
LeBlanc.
She was a very loving and caring person. She enjoyed being
well dressed, reading, a good cup of tea and most of all, she enjoyed
her family and friends. She worked for the Department of Communication
for over 30 years.
Thérèse is survived by one only son,
Charles "Marlo" (Brenda Hébert) of Memramcook;
two sisters: Florence Richard and Doris Arsenault; two sisters-in-law:
Edna LeBlanc and Blanche LeBlanc; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by five sisters:
infant Rose-Marie, Anita, Anne-Marie, Bernice and Edith; two brothers:
Henri and Léo.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the
staff of Villa du Repos for their compassion and special
care.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday February 1 at 2 pm.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 1 pm until time of funeral.
Face covering is mandatory, proof of vaccination and
government issued identification card are required to enter the
funeral centre, and social distancing is in effect. The
funeral service will be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to her
obituary on our Website. Interment will be in Saint-Thomas cemetery in
Memramcook. In memory of Thérèse, a contribution
to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
