It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our
very special mom, Diane Leger, 73, of Shediac, formerly from
Haute-Aboujagane, wife of the late Ola. Born in Moncton, she
was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Annie (Hébert)
Cormier.
She was a devoted, loving, and caring wife, as well as a very
special mother. Nothing made her happier than to be surrounded by her
family, her grandkids, and her great grandson that she adored and
loved so very much. Diane was well known for her sewing. She was an
amazing seamstress and she also loved waitressing.
She is survived by her four daughters: Tammy
(André) Boudreau from Dieppe, Connie (Serge) Bourgeois from
Shediac, Patty (Keith) Allain from Shediac, and Tina (Luc)
Léger from Nashville; five grandchildren: Luc, Samuel,
Chloé, Jérémie, and Patrick; a great
grandson, Benjamin; three sisters: Julia (Duffy) LeBlanc, Laurise
Cormier, and Gabrielle Cormier; four brothers: Oswald Cormier, Raoul
Cormier, Marcel Cormier, and Raymond Cormier; also missed by her
godchildren: Ronald (Ronny) LeBlanc, Jacky Cormier, Bobby Cormier,
Debbie Rebkowich, Aline Ring, and, Anik Cormier as well as several
nieces and nephews that she held dear to her heart.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ola; her special
grandson, Nicholas, her sister Anne-Marie LeBlanc, and by her four
brothers: Hervé, Raymond II, Jean, and Gilles; also, by two
nephews: Raymond (Remy) Goldsworthy and Danny
Cormier.
Mom is now resting peacefully in the arms of the love of her
life, Ola, and of her grandson Nicholas, whom she missed so deeply.
Rest in peace, Mom. From your daughters who love you so much.
