Évangéline Roy, 99, resident of Auberge
du Soleil in Dieppe and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Monday
January 10, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton,
she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Irene (LeBlanc)
Roy.
Prior to her retirement, Évangéline was
a teacher at Essex school and member of the SERF
(Société des enseignantes et des enseignants
retraités francophones).
She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Léonie Roy
and Margaret Roy; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the last
surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by two sisters: Jeanne-Mance, and
Marguerite; four brothers: Louis-François, Joseph,
Clément, and Clarence.
By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral
service. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
