Évangéline Roy, 99, resident of Auberge du Soleil in Dieppe and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Monday January 10, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Irene (LeBlanc) Roy.

Prior to her retirement, Évangéline was a teacher at Essex school and member of the SERF (Société des enseignantes et des enseignants retraités francophones).

She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Léonie Roy and Margaret Roy; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Jeanne-Mance, and Marguerite; four brothers: Louis-François, Joseph, Clément, and Clarence.

By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
