Imelda LeBlanc, 92, of Moncton, passed away on Monday January
10, 2022 at the Pavillon Richard of Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in
Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Albanie and Isabelle
(Doiron) LeBlanc.
Prior to her retirement, Imelda left work at Willet Fruit to
be a caregiver at home.
She is survived by her great-nephew who she considered her
son that she raised, Don Goodin (Debbie) of Moncton; Don’s
children: Julia, Jenna, and Jeremy; her nieces: Joan Goodin (Eddie),
and Darlene Gauvin (Raymond), both of Moncton; as well as several
nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate
family.
She was predeceased by her special friend, Omer Lirette
(2017); her siblings: Raymond, Alyre, Béatrice, Laurie,
Marguerite, and Mimi.
A private service was celebrated at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900). Interment will be at Our Lady of
Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Imelda, a contribution to the
Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (oncology) would be
appreciated.
