Dismas Cormier, 85, resident of Villa Providence, Shediac and
formerly of Cap-Pelé passed away peacefully on Thursday
December 9th, 2021. Born in
Bas-Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Léandre
and Osithe (Vautour) Cormier.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette, née
Léger; four children: Pauline LeBlanc (Olondo) of
Cap-Pelé, Ronald of Dieppe, Danny (Nancy) of Acadieville
and Nathalie Cormier (Émile) of Bas-Cap-Pelé;
three siblings: Yvonne Breau of Shediac, Hervé (Jeannine)
of Kitchener and Léonce (Rose) of Cap-Pelé; five
grandchildren: Jennifer Vanderkloet (Doug), Andy
(René-Pierre), Justin, Jérémie
(Renée) and Shawn Douglas; five great grandchildren:
Keegan, Tyler, Emily, Logan and Kaitlyn.
Dismas was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Joe,
Aurore LeBlanc, Anna Léger, and
Léo-Paul.
According to his wishes, there will be no
visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at
Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. Church, 2648
Acadie Rd, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday December 22, at 3:00
pm.

the Thursday, December 23 12:00pm.
Due to the
new regulations, face coverings are mandatory, and proof of vaccine
and ID are required to enter the church. The limit is 200 people in
the church.
In memory of Dismas, a
contribution to the Alzheimer Society of Southeast NB (858-8380) would
be appreciated.
