Edgar Richard, 76, of Indian Mountain, passed away on Friday December 3, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John P. and Viola (Williams) Richard.

Prior to his retirement, Edgar worked at Ben’s Bakery as a machine operator.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara Ann (Surrette); one son, Eric Lee of Indian Mountain; one daughter, Priscilla Arsenault of Dieppe; five sisters: Irène Belliveau (Armand), Jeannette LeBlanc, and Corinne Babineau (Henri), all of Moncton, Eva LeBlanc (Paul) of Irishtown, and Béatrice LeBlanc of Dieppe; two brothers: Alyre (Claudette) of Ontario, and Albert of Moncton; as well as his nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude towards the doctors and nurses of the Unit 6600 at The Moncton Hospital for their exceptional care provided to Edgar.

In accordance to his wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. In memory of Edgar, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
