Roger Robichaud, 85, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday
December 6, 2021, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton,
he was the son of the late Octave and Geneviève (Cormier)
Robichaud.
Prior to his retirement, Roger was an office clerk with
Transport Canada. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus
St-Alphonse-de-Ligouri Council 11985 and a volunteer delivery driver
with the Meals on Wheels. He was very proud of having made over 150
blood donations with the Red Cross and Canadian Blood
Services.
He is survived by his wife, Elianne (Richard) Brun-Robichaud;
three step-daughters: Murielle Brun (Eric Doucet), and Joanne
Brun-Richard (René), both of Pointe-Sapin, and Paulette
Brun-Martin (Paul) of Dieppe; seven grandchildren: Janelle, Renelle,
Josiane, Jean-Luc, Alexis, Alicia, and Jérémie;
two great-grandchildren: Valerie and Cayden; one brother, Sanford
(Roberte Landry) of Dieppe; as well as his nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Jeannine Clavette
(1991); one daughter, Monique Robichaud (2019); one sister, Viola; and
four step-brothers: Angus, Lionel, Gérard, and
Rivard.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Friday December 10 at 4 pm.
Visiting hours are Friday from 2 pm until time of funeral.
Face covering is mandatory, and proof of vaccination and
government issued identification card are required to enter the
funeral centre. Interment will be at Our Lady of
Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Roger, a contribution to
Breast Cancer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
