Anita LeBlanc, 82, of Moncton, passed away on Monday November
29, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the
daughter of the late Cyril and Pearl (Hyson) Pothier.
Prior to her retirement, Anita had worked at Ford’s
Pharmacy for many years.
She is survived by two children: Lisa Leaman (Scott) of Berry
Mills, and Geoff (Krista) of Saint-Philippe; five grandchildren:
Malcolm, Madison, Andrea, Dana, and Alyssa; one sister, Marie Connors
(late Patrick) of Halifax, NS; one brother, Cyril "Skippy"
Pothier (late Doreen) of Port Perry, ON; as well as her nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Terrence "Terry" (2015).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Friday December 3 at 11 am.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 10 am until
time of funeral service. Due to the new regulations,
face covering is mandatory, and proof of vaccination and government
issued identification card are required to enter the funeral
centre. In memory of Anita, a contribution to the
Alzheimer Society or the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated.
