Maria Cormier, 69, of the Castel Des Flots Bleus, Cap-Pelé, passed away on Wednesday December 1, 2021, at her residence. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Albénie and Dorothy (LeBlanc) Cormier.
She will be greatly missed by her two sons: Roland (Sara) of Dieppe and André (Léonie) of Moncton; one brother, Roméo Cormier (Diane) of Cap-Pelé; one sister, Rose Ouellette (Ronnie) of Petit-Cap; three grandsons: Alexandre, Sébastien and Xavier, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Léo-Paul Cormier (2016) and brother, Omer (1997).
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642, Chemin Acadie, Cap-Pelé, on Monday from 12:45 pm until time of departure (1:45 pm). The funeral will be held at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on Monday December 6 at 2 pm. Due to the new regulations, face covering are mandatory, and proof of vaccination and government issued identification card will be required to enter the funeral centre and church. Interment will be in the Frenette Funeral Centre columbarium, Cap-Pelé.
