Thérèse Green, 93, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday November 11, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jeanne (Belliveau) Léger.

Prior to her retirement, Thérèse worked at Eaton’s and Cy’s Seafood Restaurant.

She is survived by four sisters: Catherine Léger of Shediac, Jacqueline Manuel of Cap-Pelé, Annette St-Coeur (late Alphée) and Pauline Lannigan (late Thomas), both of Moncton; one brother, Victor (Jeannita Belliveau) of Dieppe; one sister-in-law, Jeannine Léger of Moncton; two brothers-in-law: Gérald Melanson and Eric Manuel, both of Moncton; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh (1995); five sisters: Antoinette, Rita, Géraldine, Yvonne, and Marie-Jeanne; six brothers: Antoine, Camille, Raymond, Paul, Henri, and infant Pierre.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Monday November 15 at 11 am. Face covering is mandatory, and proof of vaccination and government issued identification card are required to enter the funeral centre. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Thérèse, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation or the Greater Moncton SPCA would be appreciated.
