Jeannita Lavoie, 95, of Moncton, passed away on Friday October 29, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Saint-Anselme, she was the daughter of the late Damien and Philomène (Babineau) Lavoie.

Prior to her retirement, Jeannita worked at Eaton’s and Pennington’s.

She is survived by one sister, May Crevier (late Raymond) of Rimouski, QC; one sister-in-law, Violette Lavoie of Shediac, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister, Zita; three brothers: Honoré "Hank", Léandre "Lenny" and Gérald "Gerry".

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday November 5 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Due to the new regulations, face covering is mandatory, and proof of vaccination and government issued identification card are required to enter the funeral centre. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Jeannita, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
