Raymond Guy LeBlanc, 76, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday
October 28 2021. Born in St-Anselme, he was the son of the late Aula
and Marie (Dupuis) LeBlanc.
Raymond Guy was a renowned Acadian poet and
writer.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Lise Robichaud;
his son, Olivier Robichaud-LeBlanc (Meagan Boucher); his sister,
Simonne (Bill McCarthy); his brother, Yvon (Francine
D’Amour); his brothers and sisters-in-law: Gabriel (Louisa
Chiasson), Robert (Francine Bujold) and Linda (Roger Cormier); his two
nieces and three nephews; as well as his long-time friend, Roger
Savoie (Chantale Demers).
He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers at a young
age; his sister Berthe Bakmar; and two nephews: Yves and Claude
Cormier.
A celebration of his life will be held at Frenette Funeral
and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday
November 7 from 2 to 4 pm with a sharing of memories at 3 pm.
Due to the new regulations, face covering is mandatory,
and proof of vaccination and government issued identification card are
required to enter the funeral centre. Interment will be
in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Raymond Guy, a
contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated.
