Diana Brown, 92, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at her residence. Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Alice (Cormier) Poirier.

She is survived by three children: Barbara (late Georges), Wayne (Laurianne) and Brian; seven grandchildren: Jessica, Charlene, Meghan, Garett, Tracey, Lindsay, and Lisa; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Jessulat; one sister-in-law, Gemma Poirier; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; her son, Gary; five sisters: Aurore, Eleanor, Jeannine, Geneva, and Angenette; five brothers: Alonzo, Arthur, Jean-Paul, Guy and infant Raymond.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude towards her caregiver, Christina, and the staff of Extra Mural for their exceptional care and compassion provided to Diana.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday September 20 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Monday from 1:30 pm until time of service. Face coverings are recommended and social distancing is in effect. Interment will be in Notre-Dame. In memory of Diana, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
