Alice Cormier, 101, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday September 13, 2021 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur. Born in Saint-Paul-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Théophane and Eva (Gaudet) LeBlanc.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Cormier (Clarence) of Sainte-Marie; one step-son, Bernard Cormier (Colette) of Memramcook; two grandchildren: Gilles and Charline; two step-grandchildren: Jean-Sébastien and Gabrielle; two great-granddaughters: Jasmine and Emmanuelle; one great-great-grandson, Laurent; two sisters-in-law from the LeBlanc family: Ida LeBlanc of St-Paul, and Herminie LeBlanc of Grande-Digue; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law from the Cormier family: Dorice Breau (late Eric) and Maria LeBlanc (late Alfred), both of Diepe, Sr Zella ndsc of Moncton, and Claudette Lessard (late Henri) of Sherbrooke, Qué., and Emile (Idora) of Dieppe; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Cormier (1964); her second husband, Emerie Cormier (2017); three sisters: Louise Gosselin (Albénie), Agatha Breau (Archille), and Elmire Breau (Raoul); two brothers: Denis and Léo.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday September 27 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 10 am until time of funeral service. Due to the new regulations, face covering are mandatory, and proof of vaccination and government issued identification card are required to enter the funeral centre. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Alice, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
