Alma Bourgeois, 98, of Moncton, passed away on Saturday September 4, 2021 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Albénie and Joséphine (Belliveau) Cormier.

She is survived by her children: Rhéal (Pauline LeBlanc) of Dieppe and Francine Breau (Robert) of Shediac; her grandchildren: Talina Bourgeois (Ronald Martin), Monique "Nikki" Bourgeois, Lise Arntsen (Clint), Daniel Breau (Annick Caissie) and Jean-Luc Breau (Manon); her great-grandchildren: Nicholas Arntsen, Jacob Arntsen, Nadia Breau, Liam Breau and Matéo Breau; one sister-in-law, Alice Cormier of Dieppe; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jean-Baptiste "Jack" (1982); her sisters: Adélice Cormier (Rodolphe), Bertha Dupuis (Eric), Régina Hébert (Fred), Eveline LeBlanc (Oscar), Madeleine Cormier and Aurore Cormier (Ronald); her brothers: Albert, Henri (Gisèle), baby twins Joseph and Tilmon as well as Alban at a young age.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Thursday September 9 from 1:30 pm until time of funeral which will be celebrated at the funeral centre at 3 pm. Due to the pandemic and at the request of the family, face coverings are required and social distancing regulations are in effect. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe.

In memory of Alma, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society (858-8380), Ray of Hope Needy Kitchen (857-4224) or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
