Joan Ball, 87, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday September 2, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late John and Sadie (Menard) Warner.

She is survived by two sons: W Douglas (Patti Martell) of Bedford, NS and David of Moncton; one daughter, Sharon of Moncton; three sisters: Marion Vermette (Pierre) of Grand-Barachois, Joyce Reno (Robert) and Theresa Loughran both of Kitchener, ON; three brother: Allan (Ruth), Ralph (Malley) and Victor (Diane) all of Halifax, NS; five grandchildren: Kimberly Holmes, Lisa Ball, Tanya Pitre, Paul Chiasson and Katlyn May; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, William (2010), as well as her many siblings.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at the Fredericton rural cemetery. In memory of Joan, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
