Rina LeBlanc, formerly of Grand-Barachois passed away at Villa Providence Shediac, on September 2, 2021, at the age of 95. Born in Robichaud Office, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Sara (Bourque) Babineau.

Rina lovingly and compassionately dedicated her time to the care of her husband Edgar, her children, grandchildren up to the 5th generation.

She loved living in a family celebration and her family was always her first priority.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Edgar; her four children: Marguerite Cormier (Roger) of Grand-Barachois, Régis (Ann) of Shediac, Eugène (Margaret-Ann LeBlanc) and Morel (Patsy LeBlanc) all of Grand-Barachois; four grandchildren: Theresa, Maureen, Bonnie, and Mathieu; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, one sister Dorothée Brun from Résidence Oasis d'Or, Dieppe, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her two sisters: Marguerite, Elzéa and three brothers: Mélème, Réginald and Louis, a granddaughter Sylvie Cormier, and a great-grandson Jessie Gaudet.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Center, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Monday, September 6th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm. At the family’s request, face coverings are required, and social distancing regulations are in effect.

The funeral will be celebrated at St-Henri-de-Barachois R. C. church, 1356 route 133, Grand-Barachois on Tuesday at 2pm. At the family’s request, face coverings are required, and social distancing regulations are in effect.

In memory of Rina, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
