Geneva Léger, 79, of Saint-Antoine, passed away on Monday August 30, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Émilienne (Goguen) Cormier. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She will be missed by her daughter, Diane of Saint-Antoine.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henri Léger (2015); four sisters: Hectorine, Imelda, Irène and Lina; eight brothers: Alcide, Blaise, Edmée, Tilmon, Alyre, Zephyr, Father Omer, Edouard and infant siblings: Mélina, Yvon and Raymond.

By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. There will be a graveside service at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur cemetery in Notre Dame on Wednesday September 1, 2021 at 3pm. In memory of Geneva, a contribution to the "Seuil de l’Espoir" (1270 Route 535, Cocagne, NB E4R 3G9, 506-576-6564) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
