Loyola Gallant, 97, of Shediac, passed away at the Villa Providence on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Cléophas and Exelda (LeBlanc) Gallant.
He is survived by his two brothers, Rodolphe (Ivrette) of Grand-Barachois and Elzear (Florence) of Shediac; and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parent Loyola was predeceased by his parents, his sisters, Bertha Cormier, Léontine Lirette, Marguerite Gallant and Alexina Bourque; his brothers, Dismas, Euclide, Albert and an infant brother, Emerie
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 rue Main, Shediac, on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. At the family’s request, face coverings are required, and social distancing regulations are in effect.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Henri R.C. church, 1356 Route 133, Grand-Barachois on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 at 2:00pm. At the family’s request, face coverings are required, and social distancing regulations are in effect.
In memory of Loyola, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
