Gilles Antonio Nadeau, 78, of Boudreau-Ouest, passed away on Saturday July 10, 2021, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Saint-Jean-de-la-Lande, QC, he was the son of the late Wilfrid and Annette (Jalbert) Nadeau.
Before his retirement, Gilles was the Dean of Student Services at Université de Moncton for 30 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Laurette (Desjardins); three children: Michèle, Krystine and Jean-Denis (Carol Perez) all of Shediac; two brothers: Guy (Laura) of Mascouche, QC and Philippe (Juliette) of Clair, NB; three granddaughters: Kassandra, Katlin and Keera, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Yolande Lang.
As per Gilles’ wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. In memory of Gilles, a contribution to the Neil Michaud Bursary Fund https://www.umoncton.ca/dons/fr/faire-un-don would be appreciated.
